Meals on Wheels
Established in the Stella Maris Centre in 2005, our meals-on-wheels service caters for elderly people, or people living alone who may not be able to cook for themselves, who live in our parish. The meals on wheels service runs from Monday to Friday. On average we would send out around 75 meals per week. The hot meals are prepared in the Stella Maris Centre each day and are delivered throughout the parish by a number of volunteers who take it in turn each week to deliver the meals. If you know of someone who would like to avail of this service or you would like to volunteer to help with the service, please contact the Stella Maris Centre Manager, on 053 912 9922.
